Our Mission Statement
BabbleBee's mission is to help our members grow their businesses by providing a community for online and direct business networking, by rewarding members who give referrals to other members, by giving members incentives to use other members' services, and by serving as a business resource and support marketplace. We also strive to make all of our user's lives easier through offering a vehicle to search and evaluate business providers quickly and efficiently with our online business directory and to find quality, professional services through our tracking and displaying of customer feedback on business providers.
We accomplish our mission through continuously developing our online business community by both increasing users and membership, by enhancing user's and member's experience of our site through providing innovative means for networking, evaluating, and communicating, and by sustaining our community through providing incentives, rewards, and awards to active members and quality providers.
Our Management
The Founder of BabbleBee is Tina D'Agostin. Tina has an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing. She individually ranked No. 8 out of the top 100 sales executives from the 40 companies in her industry's national network and garnered their prestigious VIP Award nearly every quarter from 1999 to 2004. She also inaugurated a new division within her preceding employer's organization, and successfully managed this start-up division as its Director.
Tina has a strong sales and marketing background and has "walked the walk". After achieving her own success in sales and leadership, she decided that she wanted to help other business owners and professionals in their efforts. She takes a hands-on approach to sales and marketing and feels passionately about helping others learn to sell and market their business. Her vision is to develop BabbleBee into an organization that is dedicated to helping small to medium businesses get started, grow their business, and sustain their growth.
Our History
BabbleBee began when its founders realized the minimal networking opportunities that exist for business professionals and the limitations that exist within the current opportunities. We became motivated and energized to create a new alternative for exchanging leads and networking.
We observed people at networking events struggle with meeting new people and communicating their company's message and value. We heard reproaches about the size of networking events and the difficulty in trying to make contacts in a larger group. We heard people that are strong at networking indicating that they are starving for new and exciting opportunities to network. We listened to people tell stories of giving individuals a number of leads, but not getting the leads reciprocated. We experienced and learned of other people facing the challenge of networking with the time constraints placed on our every day lives.
We set out on a quest to form a new kind of networking organization. We wanted to form a networking community that gives members that are networking-challenged a chance to succeed, that gives strong networkers the opportunity to thrive as well as be rewarded for their networking skills, that offers our members incentives to use other members' services with the end result in mind of building a strong community, and that offers a time-effective way to network through the use of new technology.
As we were undertaking our new quest and forming our own company, we were looking for providers for the various services that our business required. One of our founders moved to a new city and had to start over trying to find business providers for personal services as well. We realized how difficult it was to locate a reputable business provider, when you need one. We then began the pursuit of creating a way of locating and evaluating a provider more effectively.
Furthermore, in the creation of our own company, we did a vast amount of research. We recognized that there are a number of excellent Web sites for business start-ups, but there was not one site that seemed to bring them altogether and serve as a sole resource. We decided to try and make researching easier for small to medium businesses, and to pool together the Web sites and online service providers that we had found while doing our own research, for the benefits of others. Thus, we became a business resource through our own start-up process through lessons learned and experienced.
By using the internet and forming an online company, we were able to provide a vehicle for the new community that we sought, and that we believe many other business professionals seek. Through our listening to other business professionals, and through our own professional experiences in networking, researching, and starting-up, we came up with the complete offering of BabbleBee - an online business community for business owners' and professionals' sales and marketing needs. We will continuously search and be on the look out for more ways to make our member's lives easier and to help them to grow their business by increasing and improving our offering.
