BabbleBee General Policies
- To become a BabbleBee Networking Community member, a prospective member must be accepted into a networking hive by a Queen or King Bee via our Bee-Invited process.
- To Bee-Invited to attend a networking meeting, a prospective member must register on our Web site, use our search to determine the hive that he or she is interested in joining, and request to Bee-Invited to the selected hive's meeting.
- After submitting a Bee-Invited request, a prospective member will receive an e-mail from the Queen or King Bee of the selected hive within 48 hours with an invitation to the next hive meeting.
- Prospective members may attend two networking meetings before joining a hive as a member.
- After a prospective member has attended two trial meetings of a hive, the Queen or King bee of the hive will have sole discretion in determining if a prospective member may become a permanent member of his or her hive. We reserve the right to deny membership to any of our hives.
- Only one person from each professional business, trade, or discipline, otherwise referred to as the hive classification, is permitted to join a networking hive. The Queen/King Bee of the hives has final authority relating to classification conflicts.
- It is the members' responsibility to file a concern with their Queen/King Bee of their hive, if a prospective member conflicts in any way with their classification. Any objections must be filed before the prospective member is approved for permanent membership. If there are no objections, the Queen/King Bee will “assume” all hive members consent.
- If a Queen or King bee decides not to accept a prospective member, the prospective member may select an alternate hive and repeat the Bee-Invited process until the prospective member finds a hive that is mutually beneficial.
- After a Queen or King bee has accepted a prospective member to her or his hive, the prospective member will visit our website, submit our online membership form, and pay the associated annual dues.
- All of our hives have different meeting times, places, days, and frequencies. Members should select a hive that has meeting schedules conducive to their own schedules.
- Hive meeting attendance is critical to the hive's success. Members may not be unexcused in attendance at more than two meetings per quarter or 8 meetings total per year. The meetings may be attended in person or online. If a member does not meet the scheduling requirement, the Queen or King Bee of the hive may remove the member of the hive after delivering the member two written warnings via e-mail.
- A Queen or King Bee, may at their sole discretion, remove a member from their hive, based upon a multitude of conditions, including but not limited to, conflict of interest; personality conflicts; unethical business practices; minimal referral activity.
- If a member is removed from his or her hive, the member may be eligible to join an alternate hive. If approved for transfer, all fees are transferable.
- Members, who wish to change their classification, must submit a new membership application and e-mail vkielar@babblebee.com to request a change. Members will be notified by e-mail, if their classification change has been approved. A classification change may necessitate a hive transfer, if a classification conflict exists.
- Membership dues are non-refundable.
- Members may be actively involved in more than one hive. If members are interested in joining multiple hives, they are welcome to do so; however, they must go through the Bee-Invited process for additional hives. Additional fees will apply based upon BabbleBee's Schedule of Membership Dues.
- BabbleBee has a BabbleBucks program, which pays members referral fees for any leads given to other members that result in a sale. A member has an option to opt-in or opt-out of the BabbleBucks program at the time of membership enrollment and for the duration of their membership. It is a member's responsibility to understand the BabbleBucks program and its obligations. By opting-in, you have accepted the terms and conditions of the BabbleBucks program.
