Queen/King Bee Program Description

1. Applicants must fill out an application and receive an Independent Contractor Agreement from BabbleBee.

2. After a Queen/King Bee is contracted, BabbleBee will give the Queen/King Bee a link for an administrative page on the website, , to begin initiating hives.

3. Queen/King Bees must name their hives and designate their hives meeting days, times, places, and frequencies.

4. Queen/King Bees must conduct meetings on a regular basis based on the schedule created. Hives must meet a minimum of twice a month. They may be conducted in person or online. It is the Queen/King Bee’s responsibility to determine the amount of meetings and format required for the success of the hive.

5. BabbleBee provides each hive with its own Web page with a message board and calendar. This Web page must be administered and maintained by the Queen/King Bee of a hive.

6. Queen/King Bees’ goal is to fill each of their hives with a maximum of 30 members. It is the Queen/King Bee’s responsibility to find members for their hive. BabbleBee has member leads from time to time and will distribute leads to Queen/King Bees for their hives on a fair and equitable basis.

7. New members, who wish to join a Queen/King Bee’s hive, must register with us through our Bee-Invited Process, If a prospective or current member requests a Bee-Invite for a hive, BabbleBee will e-mail and notify the Queen/King bee. The Queen/King Bee must respond to the interested individual within 24 hours via e-mail. BabbleBee will provide Queen/King Bees with a standard e-mail, which may be used to e-mail the interested individual.

8. Prospective hive members are allowed to attend two meetings before joining as a permanent member. The Queen/King Bee must coordinate with the prospective members for their attendance at two meetings.

9. The Queen/King Bees will be responsible for screening the members that request to join their hives to determine if the members are a good fit for their hive. The consideration for the Queen/King Bee is that the prospective member does not present a conflict to any other existing hive members.

10. The Queen/King Bee must present a positive attitude for prospective members and explain the benefits to joining BabbleBee, when they attend the two trial meetings.

11. Only one person from each professional business, trade, or discipline, otherwise referred to as a hive classification, is permitted to join a networking hive. The Queen/King Bee of the hives has final authority relating to classification conflicts.

12. It is the other hive members’ responsibility to file a concern with the Queen/King Bee of their hive, if a prospective member conflicts in any way with their classification. Any objections must be filed before the prospective member is approved for permanent membership. If there are no objections, the Queen/King Bee will “assume” all hive members consent.

13. If an objection is presented by another member, or if the Queen/King Bee anticipates a classification conflict between a prospective and an existing hive member, the Queen/King Bee must notify BabbleBee of the potential conflict, communicate the reasons for the decision, and refer the member back to BabbleBee.

14. A Queen or King Bee, may at their sole discretion, remove a member from their hive, based upon a multitude of conditions, including but not limited to, conflict of interest; personality conflicts; unethical business practices; minimal referral activity. If the Queen/King Bee decides to remove a member form their hive, the Queen/King Bee must notify BabbleBee and state the reasons for removal.

15. Members that are removed from hives may be transferred to other hives depending upon the conditions for the transfer. If a member is transferring, he or she must go through the Bee-Invited process of the new hive. Members will also be charged a $40 transfer fee. A Queen/King Bee may receive a member that is transferring to their hive. Queen/King Bees will still receive a referral fee for transferred members.

16. Queen/King Bees may conduct and facilitate their hive meetings in accordance with the BabbleBee suggested meeting agendas, or create their own agendas as appropriate for their hives. They must supervise and monitor all activity within their hive and ensure that all forms are appropriately submitted.

17. If a Queen/King Bee cannot attend a scheduled meeting, he or she must first seek to have another hive member lead the meeting. If no other hive member is available, then the Queen/King Bee must contact vkielar@babblebee.com to request a substitute. If the Queen/King Bee cannot find a replacement, then he or she must notify all members and reschedule the meeting. A Queen/King Bee must notify vkielar@babblebee.com of any meeting that the Queen/King Bee will not be conducting.

18. Hive meeting leadership is critical to the hive’s success. Queen/King Bees must maintain an excellent attendance record.

19. Hive member’s attendance is also critical to the hive’s success. Hive members must notify their hive’s Queen/King Bee, if they will miss a meeting. The Queen/King Bee has sole discretion in determining if the absence is excused or unexcused. Hive members may not be unexcused in attendance at more than two meetings per quarter or 8 meetings total per year. If the hive member is unexcused for a meeting, the Queen/King Bee must serve the member a written warning. After two written warnings, the Queen/King Bee may remove the hive member from their hive. The Queen/King Bee must notify BabbleBee of the member’s removal.

20. A Queen/Bee may begin a hive with five members. The hive must continue to grow and BabbleBee measures Queen/King Bees’ performance by the amount of members in their hive. We also measure the amount of leads and revenue generated from a Queen/King Bee’s hive. We expect a hive to have a minimum of 20 members within 120 days and a minimum of 25 members within 180 days. If a hive has been established for more than 180 days, we expect the hive membership to be maintained at a minimum of 25 members. Our expectation for the amount of leads and revenue generated from a hive is based upon the amount of members in the hive and the amount of time the hive has been in existence. We will set goals and communicate feedback periodically to the Queen/King Bee on the hive’s level of membership and activity.
